MVA Church of Christ exists to meet people where they are and move them closer to Jesus.

The Bible tells us that the source of all bad news is what is called “sin”.
When sin (disobedience to our Creator) entered the world, bad things happened (Genesis 3:16-19, pages 3-4)
Death entered the world through sin (Romans 5:12, page 1154)
Sin brings eternal death which is forever separation from God (Romans 6:23, page 1155 and James 1:15, page 1233)
Sin destroys families (Genesis 4:1-8, page 4)
Sin makes us its slaves (Romans 6:15-19, page 1155)
Sin causes us to believe lies and become chumps (Romans 1:18-25, page 1150)
Sin prevents us from being with God in eternity (Galatians 5:19-21, page 1192)
The Bible also tells us that there is good news and that is Jesus.
He died so that he could destroy the power of death over us (Hebrews 2:14-15, page 1222 and Hebrews 2:9, page 1222)
He overcame death when he rose form the grave (Romans 6:9, page 1154)
Christians (people who follow Jesus) are freed from the fear of death (Hebrews 2:15, page 1222)
Christians come out of death and enter into life (John 5:24, page 1092 and Romans 6:3-4, page 1154)
Christians receive eternal life (John 5:24, page 1092 and 1 John 5:11-13, page 1247)
Death can’t separate Christians from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39, page 1157)
Jesus is the only way to come to God and have our sins removed (John 14:6, page 1105 and 1 Peter 3:18, page 1239)
What do I need to do?
You might wonder where the world is ultimately going and you may wonder where you are headed. But you can be sure that your story, the news that you share about your life, can be truly full now with an assured happy ending.
“How?” you might ask? Well, that’s where the Good News of the Bible arrives right on time.
Believe the Good News – trust God that he sent his Son to save you

Confess that Jesus in Lord -say with your mouth what you believe
(Romans 10:9-10, page 1159 and 1 John 2:23, page 1245)
Repent of your Sins -change you mind, choose in your heart to give up sin and live out what you believe by following what Jesus said and did (Acts 26:19-20, page 1146 and Luke 15:17-19, page 1073)
Be Immersed – be buried in water like Jesus was buried in death to raise to new life with Jesus (Acts 2:37-41, page 1116 and Acts 18:8, page 1136 Romans 6:1-5, page 1154 and Galatians 3:27, page 1190 and Acts 22:16, page 1142)
We want you to know that this isn’t just our message at MVA Church of Christ. It’s God’s message to you in The Bible. Please consider the Good News He has for you!
Nothing we can do will save us. Only Jesus could do that by his sacrifice and his grace offered to you by faith. God simply gives us a path to come to Him on his terms to receive the Good News!
